Cefmetazole Sodium for Injection

Primarily used for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains such as Staphylococcus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, indole-negative and positive bacilli, Bacteroides, and other microorganisms. It is indicated for respiratory tract infections, biliary tract infections, peritonitis, urinary tract infections, uterine and adnexal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and postoperative prophylaxis against infections. This medication can penetrate inflamed cerebrospinal fluid in large quantities, treating purulent meningitis.
